Challenge #5: Look for a scene with great contrast that will make a great black and white.
Hmmm, sounds easy enough. Started taking pictures with any readily, available camera and they were all beautiful in color but not so much in black and white.
While driving to my Mom’s, I noticed this tree that stood out because of the absence of color. The sun was directly on it and made it look white. In person, the tree looked like someone just pasted it into the landscape. I grabbed my super tiny Point and Shoot camera: Sony, Cyber-shot, Carl Zeiss edition. Disappointed it wasn’t my DSLR but I figured the point and shoot would be good to have since it slides right into a pocket in my purse.
